I have updated the car system to handle additions / deletions / updating mods a lot easier to a car. Instead of clumping all parts into one little text field, you can add parts individually under a number of categories.
Adding a part allows users to search cars with that type of mod; for example, if you are looking for someone who has 'suicide doors', if someone has a part with that added to their car, your search results will return that vehicle!
You can find this new feature in the 'manage garage' section. For each car should be a link to 'modify details' and 'modify mods': both places will get you to the new feature. You can see an example of 'car mods' on these profiles:
sqmk, Web, InLikeFlint
Also, I removed a bunch of useless fields and bundled everyone's information for those fields into the 'car biography'. I would prefer that everyone moves their car biography information into the car parts system, and remove the redundant information in that field. Doing this will make your profile a lot cleaner and easier for me to manage in the future for the newer site.
If you feel there should be additional categories or category changes to where mods can be placed under, feel free to post them here. I will eventually get to adding pictures to each part, so please don't ask for pictures because its already planned.

But hmm, if I search "Injen CAI" , "Injen cold air intake" should come up right?

Only if the user typed in 'intake' for the parts. If the part doesn't have CAI in it and your search terms contain it, you won't get anything.
However, I could make changes to the search to return results containing at least one of the words in your search terms. If anyone else think that something like this is useful, I can add it in.
Also, currently I have the system setup to only follow search terms with 3 characters or more. Way2sxxy4u has a bunch of JL audio; searching JL will return no results. I will make changes to the database to be able to search JL, unfortunately this will make things a tad slower in terms of searches.

i love the new feature. what about a brakes n suspension section? n i'm a lil confused about the difference between engine power and the power delivery criteria. is one like cai's, f/i, exhausts n the other like clutches/flywheels n such? thx ahead of time

If Web gets on AIM so we can discuss this, I'd be happy to change the categories around to include that before the system is flooded with new parts

Yeah, the search is sweet. I searched "NST" and it came up with Web for his shifter bushings and Me for the shifter bushings & Pulleys.
