okay so i was at the wawa last night and a white acura pulled up. steering wheel on the right side, i forget what thats called. lol. having a blonde moment. anyways, a friend of mine told me that driving on the right side of the car is illegal. is that true? i didn't know that. if it is, why is it illegal?

its not illegal. its just an imported car from japan, england, etc...

my dad imported his BMW from england when we moved here, and he stilll drives it around on the weekends. sometimes u have problems trying to get it registered, and insurance is slightly higher, but other than that, its not illegal.

If it was illegal every mailman would be pulled over lol j/k! Yea, I used to work on some cars that were imported when I was a mechanic. Test driving them was wierd!!! Its hard to get used 2!

RHD is illegal in Cali. You can't even get tags on the car. Any RHD in the state not made by Grumman is grey market, and subject to impound.

Doesn't mean I don't see 'em all the time.

yup yup thats true, RHD is illegal in cali, in other states it might be different.
