so, i've already determined that the tc's seat is not a good fit for me. i can live with that. it appears i have a tradeoff between being comfortable, and having proper leverage on the pedals, so i can actually shift and drive.

during the first 2 years, i could generally seem to find a "sweet spot", and have a good balance between comfort and pedal control. in the last few months, idk, but i've been changing seat position like 12 times a day. if i'm leaning to far back, i can't control the pedals or steering wheel, if i'm too close (to the dash) i'm cramped and uncomfortable, but i can shift a lot better.

IMO the seat, in its fully lowered/stock position, is angled back too far, like a bucket seat, so you sink back into it and it lifts your knees up a bit. while its not terribly uncomfortable, it makes it a weird angle for your legs to travel and doesn't allow you maximum leverage on the gas pedal. .02.

i jacked up the lever on the side today so the seat-base was a little closer to horizontal, as opposed to slanted down in the back. so far, it seems to be a bit better. except i feel like i'm a bit too close to the dash/steering wheel. but if i slide the seat back, the next position back is too far away (i know, it sounds picky, but its like a full inch or two back).

ah well, this is really just a rant, cuz my lower back has been killing me all day, cuz of all the seat position switching i think.... was just wondering what other peoples thoughts on the driver seat were. and no, i didn't bother searching.

Get Sparcos ;)

But really, yea I noticed that slight angle you mentioned but didn't really pay too much attention to it.

The cheap freaking seats are my biggest complaint about the tC. When you click them into place, the whole neighborhood can hear it echo from under your car.

I have to adjust them every single day and I hate it. Power seat for the driver would be so nice.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.
