i'm just having trouble justifying spending MY MONEY on a new header, because the damn dealership is so incompetent that they neglected to replace the gasket, and now are too lazy to tighten the mani.

plus, after my experience with the DC header, i'm not too crazy about jumping into that situation again.

its funny, but the lag/tq loss i felt is gone too. i don't know if it was my dirty air filter, or perhaps the ecu "learning" and adapting to the new tire diameter....

web-i think your mileage went down from all the street racing you were doing...

I've gone about 2-3K on these tires so far and love them. I have my alignment tomorrow morning and then I'm going to rotate my tires when I get back just to start fresh and adjust my parking break all in one.

If others have comments about these speicific tires (whether they have questions or have had them) please feel free to post here.

I love these tires but damn they are expensive, even for me at wholesale. I have about 10k on mine and the wear really well. 225/30R20 starts with 10/32, I now have 8/32 left and I drive pretty hard...

Tire Inflation Specs:

i just inflated my tires to 36.5 (up from 32-34) and noticed a very immediate positive difference in both handling (especially) and ride quality. seemed to have less over steer and more steady steering control.

what psi is everyone else running?

not really..............more of like a very low (almost non-audible) wind tunnel sound but only at less than 25 mph........other than that, they are just monsters

I have lowered the psi to 32 F/ 30 R but I am going to raise it back to 34 all around.......I had a slight right hand pull after my alignment but noticed the front right tire was a bit higher than the front left (about .9 psi). It was a very SLIGHT pull, so I lowered them to door specs for stock and the pull is gone. I'll raise them a bit just to give me a more firm ride tonight.

i know these are summer tires, but do you guys still use it in winter?? i like to get these tires but i hate replacing another set for winter. You think it would be okay driving these tires in the winter and just driving more carefully????

The KDW2's look like they've got some aggressive bite to them.

there are plenty of people that drive in snow conditions with the stock tires, in either case you should drive carefully in snow conditions.

no tire is going to allow you to override the laws of physics

I'd say the G-Force T/A KDW2 although not an optimal winter tire, should be okay in the snow.

^Depends on how much snow. If it's just a dusting, then yes b/c it would melt and be like you're driving in a very wet area. 1 inch or more...than definately not. You'll have ice skates b/c the rubber compound would harden too much to be effective. If you get these tires, I HIGHLY recommend getting another winter tire for winter time. I am using Blizack LM 25 tires for the winter and my g-forces are sitting in my basement waiting for the March cruise to OC. I recommend not driving "Super High Performance Summer tires" in weather that is below 40 degrees due to the hardening of the rubber, which leads to less grip on corners and overall loss of traction.
